Postpartum Support Services

There has always been challenges to new families when they've brought their new baby home, but now more than ever new parents are in need of support in the postpartum period.

Some examples of situations that can make coming home with a newborn more challenging are:

  • not living close to your extended family

  • being the first of your social circle to have children

  • having history of mental health illness (either parent)

  • having older children and/or pets to take care of

  • having a partner who works shift work

  • recovering from a traumatic birth

  • recovering from a cesarean birth

As a postpartum doula, it is my goal to help you adjust to the many changes and challenges you may encounter with a new baby.
